There are 3 accounts on this computer. 2 are admins with passwords, but the passwords have been forgotton for whatever reason. The only account available to use is a limited account. I need to re-boot this computer, I have a bootable XP disc, but because this account is limited, IT WONT LET ME BOOT!

I found a tool where it allows you to change the account from limited to admin, but you have to burn it to a disc coz it's an ISO image. Again, I can't do this because I can't install any burning software coz it's limited! (VERY FRUSTRATING!)

I've seen ways to be an admin through going into safe mode, but I can't seem to do that eiher... so wtf can I do? How can I re-boot this piece of shit! lol

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Remember I can't install ANYTHING

by reboot do you mean delete the partition on the hard drive and completely re install windows? you dont need an admin account to do that.

^^ yeahh thats what I mean. I have a bootable XP disc, but it won't let me boot for some reason... how can I completly re-install windows?

to reinstall windows u have to set your boot-up to the cd rom then when it ask it will say press any key to continue.

Windows can't stop you booting up CDs...

I've tried setting up the CD drive as the 1st boot device, but i dunno why it wasn't working... i'll have 2 try again 2moro...

When it ask you to select the partition,delete the existing one and install it there.
