there's no reason in gettin that...wait for the other one to come out....thats not gone be the newest one...thats like the I.D to the LX and SLIDE like how the I.D was to the SIDEKICK 3.. i say there's no reason to get that because once it came out,everyone who has an LX,they sent an update to..thats why my LX can now do everything that thing can do...videos,longer away messages,etc..alotta shit

yeah thats one reason i dont wanna get it once i get it another 1s gonna end up coming out like next year.....

i got the update for my lx 3 days ago. i just needa a bigger card now

so the new one is in no way better then the lx?

It probably just has a faster processor so it might be a lil faster...but I think there's not really anything better about it. Oh the lx has flash and the new sidekick doesn't.

well the only thing about the 2008 aka gekko is that it's smaller.. like the keys are smaller.. the screen is smaller but supposedly viewing pics on it is crisper or looks better... ummm I believe it has the web speed as the lx but it's just a smaller LX without a flash and better camera

hahahah well I like the sidekick and I have the 2, 3 and the lx.... but I'm thinking of switching only because of the god damn limited internet access.... no downloadable ringtones........
