Vista "Local Only" Internet
This is bullshit...just a few days ago, I noticed that the little WiFi icon says "Local Only" instead of "Internet", and it's subsequently slower (though not unbearable)...anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

Are you even on YOUR own wifi?
It happened to me once, and it was going pretty slow, and saw that I was connected to my neighbors for the whole time..  Reconnect all modems/routers, and 90% of the time, it'll fix the problem.

Yeah I'm on my own Wi-Fi.
I've already disconnected the router, once an hour to see if it fixes it...

i had that shit before wit my comp its most likely some gay little settin was changed unplug ur modem and ur router n then plug back the modem wait till the online light comes n then immeditly plug ur router if that dont work then call ur internet provider

Now it randomly says "Local & Internet"...the odd thing is that even when it says "Local Only", internet speeds don't seem to be that slower, if at all...but I start school on Tuesday, what happens if I can't connect at school because of a hardware problem?

Set your location to Public if u only use one PC for ur internet.
