Is this a good pc for my purposes?
I watch everything online and I download a lot of music. I hate having to wait for programs to load so I want something with a lot of memory. I'm not a pc gamer, but it would be cool to have the option of PC gaming if I wanted. I also want to be able to watch 720p/1080p videos and install a blu-ray drive.
It's only $530 which is a hell of a good price I but it makes me think that the technology might be outdated and what not. I was thinking of dropping a $1000 on one but I thought about it and figured if I'm not going to use the computer to it's full potential that might be a tad bit much for me. This one looks pretty good for the price too.

Nvidia Geforce 9500GT is a alright graphics card so you probably can watch good quility HD movies in full resolution. Storing music is nothing, and doesnt affect your computer, it only takes few mb, even if you have 5000 songs it still wont affect. If you watch HD 2gb+ ram is enough to watch them. For PC gaming, you'll probably play low-medium settings because the ram isnt powerful its only 800 & processer would have a hard time to handle it but would manage but good deal as you said. Go for the first one.

tough choice..
the hp has more ram n hdd space tho still and both have nvidia graphics but the cyberpower has the better graphics card.. |

go for that hp with the quadcore should be more than enough for your needs it has very good reviews on newegg

hmmmm well now since I've been doing more research I'm contemplating building a computer. People say it's somewhat cheaper and it seems like it would be a cool thing to do.
