Im curious what the difference is between the 2nd and 3rd generation Ipod Touch.

ill set this straight for you

3rd gen 32gb and 64gb have better processors(about 100mhz more) and it supports open gl 2.0 for graphics

the 3rd gen 8gb has the same hardware as the 2nd and also does not support open gl 2.0

the screen res is the same in 2nd gen and 3rd aswell as the deign and speaker

also, the new 3rd gen ones has voice control, meaning you can say the track and it will play it, also, itll tell you what track is playing.

yea its an accessibility feature but its not a big deal

atm...the 3rd gen ipods need a tethered jailbreak

this means that when you need to restart/turn the device back on, you need to connect to your computer and run blackra1n again (the program needed to jailbreak)
